Made from the finest grapes of Pago Valdelayegua, a vineyard at 815 m altitude, which gives the wine unique character. Its clay-limestone soils—formed from ancient Gromejón river sediments—yield grapes rich in color and structure.

– Vineyard: Pago Valdelayegua
– Altitude: 790–820 m
– Gently sloping south-facing terrain near the Duero and Gromejón rivers
– Sandy-loam and clay-loam soils with limestone outcrops
– 95% Tinto Fino (Quintana clone), 5% Merlot
– Manual harvest
– Spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts at 29ºC
– Aged 12 months (60% French oak, 40% American oak)
– APPEARANCE: Deep cherry-red, clean and bright
– NOSE: Intense aromas of spice, vanilla, blackberry, with balsamic and herbal notes
– PALATE: Smooth and silky, with ripe black fruits, spices, and a long finish
