Pradorey Finca La Mina is a classic Reserva red wine from Ribera del Duero. Made with 100% Tempranillo grapes, it is a delicate and elegant wine that is also robust and complex. Its production, balance, and versatility enhance a wide range of dishes, including roasted and/or game meats, pork-based dishes, cured and blue cheeses, mushroom-based preparations, and even desserts such as dark chocolate cake or blackberry or raspberry tart.
– Altitude: between 807 m and 820 m
– Sandy loam soils, healthy and deep, with limestone content – ideal for aging wines
– 100% Tempranillo
– Manual harvest
– Limited production: 43,562 bottles
– Spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts at controlled temperature (28ºC)
– Maceration period: 12 days
– Malolactic fermentation with native bacteria in Nevers wooden vats and new French oak barrels
– Aged for 14 months in French oak barrels
– APPEARANCE: Cherry red color, very bright with high depth
– NOSE: Complex and elegant. Dominated by stewed red fruits and ripe black fruits. Spicy, smoky, and rich in tertiary aromas like tobacco and chocolate. A wine with bouquet.
– PALATE: Silky entry, with interesting mature tannins and long development. Very pleasant sensations of ripe fruit, velvety and balsamic notes. Long aging potential.
– Small game (fur and feather)
– Complex stews with rich sauces
– Gelatinous-textured meats: tripe or oxtail
– Dark chocolate
