PRADOREY La Recorba Estate - Rosé Wine from Ribera del Duero

Pradorey Finca La Recorba is the legitimate successor to Pradorey Rosado, the pioneering rosé wine of Ribera del Duero. It combines the strength of a red wine with the freshness of a white, maintaining the classic character of rosés while adding a livelier touch thanks to the Albillo Mayor grape. This is a gastronomic wine, perfect for the table, as an aperitif, or simply to enjoy. It is the ideal choice for those who think they don’t like rosé wines.
– La Recorba Vineyard
– Altitude: 805 to 818 meters
– Two slopes, one facing south and the other west
– Predominantly sandy-loam soils, with increasing clay and limestone content at higher elevations
– 67% Tempranillo, 25% Merlot, and 8% Albillo Mayor
– Spontaneous fermentation at a controlled temperature of 14 – 16ºC
– Spontaneous fermentation with wild yeasts at controlled temperature (28 °C).
– 50% of the wine is aged on lees for 60 days in new American and French oak barrels
– The remaining 50% of the wine is aged on lees for 60 days in stainless steel tanks
– SIGHT: Clean and bright, with medium intensity. Displays an attractive strawberry pink color with a glyceric texture
– NOSE: Intense and elegant aromas reminiscent of strawberry and cream candy. Prominent notes of ripe fruits such as red mulberries and raspberries. Balanced and sophisticated
– MOUTH: Fresh, balanced, and persistent, with a long-lasting sip. Leaves a subtle hint of fresh almonds on the finish
