From July 17th to 19th, experience an extraordinary weekend at the Real Sitio de Ventosilla. An exclusive experience for a small group of guests where Baroque theatre is only the beginning. WHERE DOES IT TAKE PLACE?

La Posada de Pradorey is a Herrerian-style mansion built in the 17th century by the Duke of Lerma that still preserves its original exterior architecture intact. Lope de Vega himself performed theatrical plays in its gardens for the king and his court. Today, it is possible to stay overnight in this historic, unique and privileged place, just as Felipe III, Lope de Vega or Rubens once did.

THE THEATRE PLAY

“FARRA” is a stage celebration that breaks the rules from the very first minute. Inspired by the Spanish Golden Age, it blends theatre, live music, circus, humour and acrobatics in a surprising, dynamic and energetic performance. In the middle of carnival —where anything goes— the stage becomes a space of celebration, madness and beauty, where past and present collide without asking permission. A multi-award-winning production that does not only entertain: it moves, makes people laugh and awakens something more. A different, vibrant experience that is very difficult to explain… it simply has to be lived.

THE WINERY

PRADOREY became part of the history of this place at the end of the 1980s. Since then, it has always been closely linked to culture and art and takes part in these events with guided tours of the winery* and by pairing its wines with the gastronomy that can be enjoyed during that weekend – July 17th, 18th and 19th.
